The play concerns a young woman on the skids in Detroit's Cass Corridor who becomes a live-in companion to a woman suffering from sleeping sickness. Saturday January 22nd THE "I CAN'T BREATHE" COMIC COLLECTIVE CAROL "Toots" MORRIS Poet "Too clever by half" performs selections from her new debut CD, ATOMIC PICNIC featuring such hits as Releasing The Wild Woman, Female Driver and Monet At The Beach - to name a few. Accompanying Carol on keyboard will be musicians Gary Hnizda and Laura Massaro! Opening the show will be VELVETEEN BLUE Laurence Miller as "Yours Truly" and Brian Delaney as "B. Deluxe" perform their own original concoction of cracked-corn-country, and slap-sappy lounge (with a touch of horribly smoked ham).
