Dreamland Theatre presents THE TRUTH ABOUT TEETH a dadaist opera about dentistry.
This psychologically explosive, teeth-scraping, groundbreaking theatre piece delves into the deepest recesses of our collective subconscious and returns with all the guck about teeth we've been repressing for years. Inspired by dada theatre and symbolist surrealism, The Truth About Teeth explores the American culture of Teeth, addressing all of our most primal fears and dental insecurities. Why do we think so much about teeth? Why do teeth take up so much of our time, our thoughts, our energy, and our pocket book? What do teeth mean? San Francisco artist-at-large Jess Rowland has written this psychic teeth cleaning exclusively for Dreamland Theatre. Directed by Naia Venturi.
