A play by Jess Rowland.
A promising young composer of impenetrable experimental music takes a job writing phone hold music to pay the rent. Soon she becomes embroiled in the machinations of her employer, GlobalCorp, as friends fall victim to the Sales & Marketing (S & M) department. What is a struggling artist to do in this era of corporate global domination?

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED - The story of a man on the verge of suicide whose last hope for satisfaction in life lies in a perfect bag of potato chips.

REALITY INCORPORATED - Have you ever wondered why reality is the way that it is? This play will reveal the answer to this and other deep questions (like why cows aren't purple). Reality Incorporated reveals a glimpse of the daily grind in the customer service department of the company that defines reality as we know it.

DIRT! - Love is blind, and triumphs over evil in this musical melodrama about the beautiful and innocent Marianne, Evil Ezechial Cramrod the Third, and a lonely piece of dirt.

MCDONALDLAND IS CHANGING

San Francisco artist-at-large Jess Rowland brings her multimedia "found video" pieces to Dreamland on Saturday, July 9th starting at 8:00 PM Thrill to new approaches to the symbiosis of moving pictures and sonic vibrations with "McDonaldland is Changing": McDonald's children video propaganda and live improvised music. Join us as we deconstruct mass image, get in touch with our collective consumer consciousness, and see Hamburglar as you've never seen him before. This performance also celebrates the recent release of a two-disc set of these pieces, also titled "McDonaldland is Changing", on Pax Recordings. Rowland will also perform several other pieces from this release. Be the first on your block to hear these new sounds.

DREAMLAND'S JULY MANIFESTIVAL

An interactive variety show featuring a puppet show based on audience input, live music and quiz show games. The audience gets to help create a puppet show by volunteering words that will fill in a puppet script, "mad-lib" style. Music and more games fill out the evening, which culminates in a performance of the audience's script by the Dreamland puppet troupe.
