THE SMEET FROG VERSUS THE SUN DRESS OF DOOM A puppet show written by Kirk Kitchen and Naia Venturi In this story the Smeet frog must save the day once again when he and little Timmy happens upon a sinister plot devised by Doctor Darkula and his cohort Lawyer Numbreaster. The diabolical duo invent a sundress woven out of black-widow spider silk that when worn by unsuspecting girls turns them into unstoppable, precision shopping machines. Will the Smeet frog and Timmy be able to save Timmy's friend Suzy from the effects of the dress, and receive yet another medal of commendation from Mayor Tiller? Come see the show and find out! Friday August 19th at 7:00 PM THE JOE SUMMERS GYPSY JAZZ TRIO Joe Summers leads this all-acoustic jazz trio that plays the music of Django Reinhardt and other European Gypsy composers. The trio features Joe Summers on guitar, Chris Moyer on guitar and Dave Sharp on bass. Admission $5.00 Saturday August 20th at 3:00 PM MISTER LAURENCE Mister Laurence writes, records & performs original children's songs & stories, as well as his own clever arrangements of kiddie-classics. His eclectic performance is presented karaoke style, playing the acoustic guitar and accordion, while singing along to his prerecorded "backup group" -- THE PLAY MONEY BAND! Saturday August 6th DREAMLAND'S AUGUST MANIFESTIVAL An interactive variety show featuring a puppet show based on audience input, live music and quiz show games. The audience gets to help create a puppet show by volunteering words that will fill in a puppet script, "mad-lib" style. Music and more games fill out the evening, which culminates in a performance of the audience's script by the Dreamland puppet troupe. 8:00 PM Admission $5.00

Friday August 12 at 8:00 PM Improv with the Vegans Come out to the Dreamland Theater and get buzzed with the Vegans. Vegan Meat Locker will perform their brand of Improv comedy based on audience suggestions so expect nothing less than hilarity. You really won't want it to end. Opening troupe is TBA. Show starts at 8pm and seating is limited so be sure to get there early! 8:00 p.m Admission $5.00

Saturday August 27th The Comedy Collective Repeats and Rinses. This time it's the M&M's :Miller/Morris/Mosher Laurence Miller performs cracked corn pleasing to the ear. w his Play Money Band straight from the Latest Lounge Carol Toots Morris reads from her new spoken word CD "Running With the Walls." accompanied by the Broken Toys. Bay City bon vivant Mike Mosher sings and plays some foot-stomping, nose honking organ tunes. 8:00 p.m Admission $7.00
